Dualin With
Cows - 2002 AQHA stallion - Reference Sire
 |
Dualin is the result of
a breeding program that put the top cutting sires together in this one-of-a-kind
stallion. Peppy San Badger, Doc's Hickory, Freckles Playboy and Smooth
Herman build the third generation on his papers, bred to daughters of Docs
Remedy, Kings Pistol, Doc Bar and Two Eyed Jack.
Despite all this high power
in his blood he is a very easy to handle stud, a breeze to train with a
willing attitude and friendly disposition. After a summer out on pasture
with the mares he goes right back to work at the ranch.
Dualin was not shown due
to our focus on raising cattle with the help of great horses.
With his first foal crop
turning two and three years old in 2011 we started several under saddle
and got feedback from buyers.
Our own experience and the
one of the buyers have a lot in common: they describe their young horses
as calm, smart, very trainable and quick on their feet.

Feedbacks of this colts
full brother (2009) and full sister (2008) coming in - the only thing these
horses can not seem to be able to do is making a pot of coffee. Friendly,
mellow, quick, cowy, easy going - all someone could ask for in a horse.
We consider Tee Bar Jeep
our best broodmare who throws stout, well build horses. Many of her daughters
can be found in our broodmare band. Dualin With Cows puts his quickness,
cowyness and very mellow disposition in the cross.
Her 2014 foal is a beautiful,
super straight stud colt with a star and a tiny snip and four white feet.

about 20 hours old foal in a 500 acre pasture, hold the foal and touch
it all over. Unfortunately my saddle horse didn't stay ground tied but
decided to walk up to me - at this point Smackincrackinwho got a bit protective.

put together with a short back, strong neck, and big hip. She is very mellow
and would make a great 4H project, but she'll stand her ground on the ranch
or trail just as well. The sire is one of the very few blue roan stallions
that do not go back to Blue Valentine, her dam is a sorrel Tyrees Watch
/ Freckles Playboy / Baron Red bred mare.
Lexi is basic halter trained,
current on wormer and coggins. She is virtually fearless, there is nothing
that will phase her. She is a true roan, base color is black or brown.
